  Exam Results

GCSE Exam Success
Students, staff and parents are again celebrating a strong set of GCSE results this year, at Drumragh Integrated College. A number of students have been pleasantly surprised at the quality of their grades, and the percentage of students achieving five or more grades A*-C has risen significantly.

In addition to the very pleasing outcomes above, an impressive number of students have achieved the higher grades in a range of subjects. The College is extremely proud of its students and extends its congratulations to every one of them. These grades are stepping stones to future plans and successes, and students were today invited to relax in a café-style setting, run by the Parents Council, whilst waiting for their interviews regarding Sixth Form courses for next year.

Students with impressive results include the following:

In addition to those achieving the highest grades, we congratulate all those who have achieved grades that are strong for them. For some students whose talents are not academic, achieving a grade below A, A* or B is still their personal best and so we are proud of them. As an all-ability integrated college we celebrate and encourage the best in all of our students.

Staff need to be recognised for their part in the many successes we are celebrating. They have worked so hard alongside students, supporting them and sharing their considerable expertise with them. One of the many qualities of this college is the strength of the relationships that exist between students and staff.

High examination results are a key goal for us, as they are for any school. We are also proud, however, of the personal qualities of the students who are graduating from Drumragh. We emphasise the importance of positive attitudes toward your fellow man or woman, of developing the skills that employers in fact want and of being a real contributor to society.

Our aims are to work toward a better Northern Ireland in the future, by welcoming all and embracing difference, whilst providing a quality of education that is second to none. The brilliant achievements of these young people are clear evidence that these ideals are in fact a reality.

A and AS Level Exam Success

Students at Drumragh Integrated College are again celebrating a range of impressive exam results, including a number of A grades. These are the fruits of students' hard work and talent, providing keys to the future for each one.

Drumragh Integrated College believes in the importance of the student-teacher-parent partnership and we recognise that all partners have played a role in the successes that have been achieved this year.

In addition to our congratulations to those who have attained the highest grades, we would like to emphasise that we are equally proud of all those students who have achieved grades that are, for them, their best. As an all-ability college we encourage students to develop their talents, whatever they are, and to achieve the best they can, whatever that may be. We want to say 'well done!' to all those who have achieved their personal best.

We need to help our young people to discover their potential and to develop as rounded members of society. As an integrated college we are aware that our young people will build the Northern Ireland and the global society of tomorrow. This will not be done through exam results alone, but by developing as lifelong learners and by coping with the many pressures of the 21st century. Crucially, our definition of success also includes appreciation of attitudes that involve reaching out to others with outstretched hands rather than clenched fists. We are, therefore, proud of all that our students have achieved in addition to their academic studies. We wish each one of them well for the future.
