  Key Stage 4

Drumragh Integrated College offers a wide range of courses at Key Stage 4. Most students follow a full GCSE programme. Some, however, whose talents are perhaps more practical than academic, follow a vocational programme alongside a selection of GCSE subjects.

Vocational Programme
As we strive to meet the needs of all our students, we offer a more vocational programme alongside the usual curriculum. This is run in partnership with the local Further Education College. In this option students can complete a programme of vocational GCSEs and/or work placement.

Student Support
Drumragh Integrated College is concerned with the recognition of students' individual educational needs and the matching of appropriate learning experiences to these needs. This ensures that all students are able to develop their diverse talents and achieve their potential. Whilst all students are offered a similar curriculum, it is acknowledged that they all have different abilities. Through the use of varied teaching and learning strategies our staff offer students differentiated support to meet their needs within the classroom setting.

Stretching More Able Students
More able students have learning needs and opportunities of their own, regardless of whether their talents are academic, athletic, creative or practical. A register of these students is compiled and issued to staff. The students are then provided with appropriate levels of challenge and support, both in and beyond the classroom. The intention is to make sure that they are happy in their learning, that they feel stretched and that they fulfil their full potential.
