  College Policies

Drumragh Integrated College has a range of policies that guide our work, promote quality learning and help us to meet the needs of our students. Many are available from the college on request, and our intention is increasingly to make them available through this website. They include the following:

- The Pastoral Care Policy within our college aims to ensure that all students are well cared-for, that the ethos of the college is motivational and supportive, and that both staff and students are valued as individuals. It is essential that students are given a secure, well ordered and positive learning environment which will support their moral, spiritual, emotional, academic and social development.

Pastoral Care Policy

- Through our Child Protection Policy, in particular the principle we uphold is that every child or young person has the fundamental right to be safe from harm, with proper care given to their physical, emotional and spiritual well-being by those looking after them.

Child Protection Policy

- Through our Anti-Bullying Policy, we present the principles that our students have the right to learn free from intimidation or fear, that we will not tolerate bullying behaviour, that bullied students will be listened to and supported, and that reported incidents will be taken seriously, investigated and dealt with effectively.

Anti-Bullying Policy

- The college also has increasingly well-developed Rewards and Sanctions procedures. We aim to offer a celebration culture where outstanding effort, quality work and contributions to others are appreciated and rewarded.
