Drumragh's Star
Meghann Ward, a year 10 student at Drumragh Integrated College, topped the stars at a recent talent show. Meghann appeared as Celine Deon singing 'It's All Coming Back to me Now', she achieved first place in the competition as voted by a panel of judges. Meghann will now proceed onto the Grand Final of 'Stars in Yer Eyes' in the Millennium Forum Derry on the 16th June at 8pm.
'Stars in Yer Eyes' is the province's leading young talent show, schools from across Northern Ireland participate in regional events. The finalists from schools in Tyrone, Derry and Fermanagh competed against one and other in the Strule Arts Centre. Participants from Drumragh College included the 'Spice Girls and Christina Aguilera' (Catherine McMenamin).
It was an amazing opportunity for contestants to perform to a large audience, and Drumragh College would like to congratulate all participants, and wish Meghann every success in the Grand Final!
