GCSE Results Day Press Release 2011 Press release following issue of GCSE Results From DRUMRAGH INTEGRATED COLLEGE, OMAGH26 August 2011 Students, staff and parents are yet again celebrating a strong set of GCSE results at Drumragh Integrated College. Many students have achieved well-deserved, high grades and are now planning the next step in their educational journey. The College is extremely proud of its students and extends its congratulations to every one of them.

Overall the percentage of students achieving five or more grades A*-C is approximately 76%, and the college is proud of this success rate. In addition to those achieving the highest grades, staff would also like to congratulate all those who have achieved grades that are strong for them. For some students whose talents are not academic, achieving a grade below A*, A or B is still their personal best and so Drumragh is proud of them. As an all-ability integrated college, staff celebrate and encourage the best in all of their students.
Drumragh staff themselves need to be recognised for their essential part in the many successes the college is celebrating. They have worked so hard alongside students, supporting them and sharing their considerable expertise with them. One of the many qualities of this college is the strength of the relationships that exist between students and staff, and this makes a huge difference.
High examination results are a key goal for Drumragh. They are also proud, however, of the personal qualities of the students who are graduating from Drumragh. The college emphasises the importance of positive attitudes toward your fellow man or woman, of developing the skills that employers really want and of being a strong contributor to society.
Drumragh’s aims include working toward a better Northern Ireland, by welcoming all and embracing difference, whilst providing a quality of education that is second to none. The brilliant achievements of these young people are clear evidence that these ideals are in fact a reality.
For further information, please contact Nigel Frith, Principal, on 028 8225 2440 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GCSE results will be available in college from 9.30am Thursday 25th August. Students must visit the College to collect all results and we recommend that you attend at this time to enable us to best facilitate you. |
