Drumragh Integrated College

Frequently Asked Questions

What college transport options are available to anyone who would like to attend DIC?

Drumragh's geographical location on the outskirts of Omagh means it is a place of easy connectivity. The school gates are just 10 minutes from the bus station. Besides our local catchment area, pupils travel to Drumragh Integrated College from across both 'Fermanagh & Omagh' and 'Derry & Strabane' District Councils.  Bus timetables can be accessed by clicking here and viewing tabs under Transport.

Most students who require transport are transferred to and from the Omagh Bus Depot. Students with a bus pass are not charged for this. The buses leave the depot in the morning at 8.45am and the college day finishes at 3.05pm unless students would like to stay behind for clubs, activities or additional lessons. To facilitate attendance at these activities, there is a bus provided at 4.00pm, Monday to Thursday, to transfer students to the depot.

How does the college communicate with parents and guardians throughout the year?

Modern software and technology provides us with a good variety communication methods. We use the SIMS Parent App for detailed individual pupil information such as tracking performance, reports and attendance. This app also allows Parents or Guardians to connect to the school management system and update important personal information. Besides our formal communication techniques we have an up-to-date website and extremely active social media engagement with a healthy pupil focus. Year Tutors, Senior Staff, Vice-Principals and the Principal also regularly telephone Parents and Guardians if the immediacy of a phone call is appropriate.

Can we arrange to have a visit or have a tour of the college?
